On September 22, Lab is pleased to host the 2025 NTU-UTsukuba Symposium on HRI Research for Elderly Wellbeing. This symposium is supported by the Joint Initiatives in Research and Education of 2025 NTU-UGA-UT Trilateral Center, under the project title: A Cross-Cultural Investigation of Social Robots for Enhancing Well-being and Social Engagement of Older Adults in Public Libraries. We invited our research partner, Prof. Masahiko Mikawa and his research team from University of Tsukuba, to share their efforts and insights in robotics technologies. Through 12 insightful presentations and discussions, this Symposium deepened our mutual understanding of the societies, robotics, and dynamics of libraries in Taiwan and Japan, which also paved the way for future collaborations and planning. 

9月22日我們歡迎NTU-UGA-UT三校計畫的合作夥伴，筑波大學圖書資訊與媒體學系的三河正彥教授，率領研究團隊到台大交流。當天也舉辦 2025 NTU-UTsukuba Symposium on HRI Research for Elderly Wellbeing ，透過台日參與師生12場精彩的發表與討論，增進我們彼此對臺日社會、機器人技術以及圖書館現況的理解，並開啟各項合作研究執行。
